Threat Metric
The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

Marvelsound is a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP) that works as a music player that should provide users with access to quick tools they can use to set-up playlists, scan music folders, and organize their music better than before. However, the Marvlesound application does not appear to be popular at all, and a quick look at the 'Terms and Conditions of Use' section on their website may reveal the reason for this. According to it, Marvelsound is an ad-supported application. This means that while this software is free to use, its installation may bring unwanted advertisements to the user's Web browser, and viewing or clicking these ads may generate money for Marvelsound's owners.
Apart from being distributed through its official page, the Marvelsound software also may travel in software bundles or also be promoted by download managers that are a rather commonly used by websites that host freeware tools and utilities. Apart from Marvelsound, download managers and software bundles may also be used to promote browser hijackers, adware, and other dubious applications that most users would not want to see on their list of installed programs. That's why we advise our readers to take their time when installing new software and to follow the installation instructions carefully and make sure that they don't accept to install any 3rd-party software or extensions that they are not familiar with.
The good news is that even in case you permit the Marvelsound's installation, this application will not perform any harmful activities on your computer. It may be set as the default media player for some audio files, but this may require the user's authorization. However, the ads that Marvelsound displays may bother you while you browse the Web, and they are one of the primary reasons why you may want this application gone from your computer. Due to Marvelsound's harmless nature, users might be able to uninstall this program via the Windows Control Panel manually. However, if the problem persists, we recommend using a reputable anti-malware software, since this sort of applications specializes in eliminating not just high-profile cyber threats, but also minor annoyances like PUPs, browser hijackers and adware.
