Master Gamer is a useless application that may ruin your surfing sessions. It may insert unrequested and persistent online ads, which is the reason security specialists define it as adware. The announced features of Master Gamer are misleading and unreliable. In theory, this suspicious extension should let you download games, search cheats and find tips. The adware cannot accomplish them directly. All it may do regarding the promised functionality is redirect you to certain sites. This activity has its risks: if the offered games contain some harmful codes, your PC may get infected. Many types of malware may be found in software that provides the players with an unfair advantage – the so-called hacks and cheats. Besides, not all ads by Master Gamer are game-oriented. This questionable plugin may monitor your browsing history and the list of searches that you have performed recently. It may use this non-personally identifiable information to adjust offered coupons and deals. For example, if you have been planning your trip, you may start seeing ads about plane tickets suddenly. Nothing can verify for sure that the links by Master Gamer lead to safe sites. Some of the partners may be new e-commerce pages that are legit, but others may try to spread unsafe software. For this reason, the experts don't recommend following these ads. Even if you ignore the presence of many pop-ups, banners, videos and interstitial ads, you may not be able to close your eyes for the functionality issues that they may cause. Due to the resource-consumption of multimedia elements, the performance of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer may be troubled. If you cannot recall loading Master Gamer, then it most likely has entered alongside freeware. It is recommended to take measures to delete this adware as soon as possible.
