MusicStreamSearch
MusicStreamSearch is a dodgy browser add-on whose installation may end up bringing some unwanted and unexpected changes concerning your Web browser's configuration. Once MusicStreamSearch is up and running, it may immediately set your default search engine to Feed.musicstreamsearch.com, and new tab page to Portal.musicstreamsearch.com. While there is nothing threatening about this activity, it may end up annoying you a fair bit – the pages that MusicStreamSearch promotes, do not deliver high-quality search results, and they may often contain unwanted advertisements.
MusicStreamSearch is considered a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP), so you are unlikely to have any issues with it if you are keeping your system secured by an up-to-date security tool that will warn you about MusicStreamSearch's installer, and ask you to stop the operation. If, however, you do not use suitable protection, you may unknowingly enable MusicStreamSearch to tamper with your Web browser settings. To fix the issues that this PUP causes, you need to take care of its removal via security software capable of dealing with Potentially Unwanted Programs. Once MusicStreamSearch is gone, your browser's settings will be automatically restored to their original state.
