Threat Metric
The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

Muzeen.com is a low-quality search engine whose interface, search feature and other properties hint that it might be linked to Wibeez.com, another search engine that uses a pretty similar interface, and is also meant to be used by French-speaking users. The Muzeen.com search engine is not a threatening Web destination, nor is it linked to the distribution of potentially unsafe software or content. However, it is worth nothing that Muzeen.com is also not a popular website, and its authors may use unfair techniques to boost the website's traffic significantly by taking advantage of browser hijacking software that may trick users into setting Muzeen.com as their default homepage or new tab page.
If you suddenly see Muzeen.com opening whenever you try to reach your homepage or open a new tab, then it is very likely that the reason for this is a small piece of software that malware researchers refer to as a browser hijacker. Browser hijackers may be compatible with particular Web browser versions, and they serve one single purpose – to modify a Web browser's settings in a way that benefits the hijacker's author. In this case, the browser hijackers benefit the author of Muzeen.com by changing the user's homepage and new tab page to Muzeen.com.
Usually, browser hijackers like the ones linked to Muzeen.com can get to your computer via software bundles. This is a software distribution method that is often used by the authors of freeware software to monetize their product. Software bundles are essentially modified files that offer users to install 3rd-party software alongside the program or game they intended to install. These offers can be declined, but some users might forget to do this, and this may result in the introduction of the Muzeen.com browser hijacker to their computers accidentally. It is clear that Muzeen.com is not a threatening Web destination, but using it to search the Web may not always deliver the results you would expect from reliable search engines like Google, Yahoo, Bing, and other search aggregators. This is why we advise users who did not set Muzeen.com as their homepage intentionally to consider removing the browser hijacker with the assistance of anti-malware software.
