The Mindspark Interactive Network has added another product to its portfolio – MyDigitalCalendar. This extension is meant to improve the users' online experience by allowing them to organize tasks, meetings, and set up reminders from their Web browser directly. This software is available for Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, and Google Chrome so that the majority of Internet users should be able to take advantage of what it has to offer. However, we'd like to warn our readers that the installation of MyDigitalCalendar only can be completed under certain conditions that some users might find annoying. Chrome users who wish to take advantage of MyDigitalCalendar's services will need to authorize the add-on to replace their new tab page, while users with other Web browsers will need to allow it to replace both their homepage and new tab page. While these changes are not threatening, some users are likely to find them annoying since they may have an adverse impact on the user's Web browsing experience.

Just like many other Mindspark products, MyDigitalCalendar also is meant to bring more traffic to MyWay.com, a search engine that is used by a broad range of Mindspark products. In this case, MyDigitalCalendar will include the URL hp.myway.com/mydigitalcalendar/ttab02/ in the user's browser settings, therefore increasing the amount of traffic this page receives. All searches executed through this site will take the user to the Yahoo Search eventually.

Although MyDigitalCalendar is classified as a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP) by major companies in the cybersecurity field, it is not mandatory to remove this software. MyDigitalCalendar is not harmful, and you are welcome to use it if you don't have anything against the changes MyDigitalCalendar may bring to your browser's settings. However, if you do not wish to use browser extensions, which force you to use an alternative new tab and homepage configuration, then you need to take care of MyDigitalCalendar's removal. This task can be handled either manually or by running a suitable computer security utility.
