MyStart Search Protection is a potentially unwanted program (PUP) that may be created to protect its bundled programs and assure they remain installed or unchanged by other third party applications. MyStart Search Protection may replace the default homepage with Mystart.com and the default search engine with Search The Web (Search.yahoo.com). If a PC user attempts to restore them to the default settings, a pop-up message may be displayed on a screen of a computer.
