OriginalSearchManager is a deceptive Mac application whose installation may bring undesired changes to your Web browser's configuration and behavior. Many applications products categorize OriginalSearchManager as a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP) and would recommend its removal. Users who keep their macOS device protected by up-to-date security software are unlikely to be troubled by OriginalSearchManager's intrusive behavior, but other users may not be so lucky. If OriginalSearchManager finds its way to your device, it may modify the default system Web browser's new tab page and search aggregator, therefore forcing you to visit non-trustworthy websites.

Some of the redirects, which OriginalSearchManager causes, may slow down your Web browsing sessions or take you to non-trustworthy websites. Furthermore, you may sometimes experience issues with the search results loading slowly or not appearing at all. Needless to say, you should not tolerate such issues, and you should ensure OriginalSearchManager's removal. Once the PUP is gone, the changes it brought will be reverted automatically. The best way to clean OriginalSearchManager's files off of your macOS computer is to run a compatible security scanner.
