Threat Metric
The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

Reg TuneUp is a piece of software that is advertised as a great Registry-optimization tool whose features can help users optimize the Windows Registry, get rid of unwanted Registry keys, and improve the overall performance of the Windows operating system. While these features may seem useful, the official recommendation of the Microsoft Corporation is not to mess with the Windows Registry since this may cause some Windows services or 3rd-party applications to crash unexpectedly or to suffer from other problems. However, this does not mean that all Registry optimization tools should not be trusted necessarily, but in the case of Reg TuneUp, you might want to think twice before using this application. It is categorized as a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP), and there are several strange things about its website. First of all, it claims that it is a certified Microsoft Gold Partner, but this is not true, and this program is not verified by Microsoft. In addition to this, the entire layout and graphic design of Reg TuneUp's website is copied from the page of Advanced PC Tuneup, another Potentially Unwanted Program with questionable features.
Since Reg TuneUp is just a PUP, its installation will not cause any major problems or expose your information to cybercrooks. In fact, applications of this sort are considered harmless, but their installation might cause some minor annoyances that you might not enjoy. For example, the trial version of Reg TuneUp that is available for free download is only able to scan the Registry and provide a report regarding the recommended fixes and optimizations. To carry out these operations, the user would have to pay for the full version of Reg TuneUp, and users who opt not to do this may end up seeing constant warnings, reminders, and notifications that their Registry optimization is still pending.
The removal of Reg TuneUp is not mandatory, but it is recommended since this software will not stop bothering users until they uninstall it or purchase the full version. The removal of Reg TuneUp might be carried out manually via the Windows Control Panel, or automatically with the assistance of a suitable computer security utility.
