High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.

Search.searchtcn.com is a search engine that does not use a custom search algorithm. Instead, all search queries entered on Search.searchtcn.com will be executed through Google.com, and users will be taken to the Google's search engine results page (SERP). In addition to the search field, Search.searchtcn.com also features a collection of bookmarks that lead to popular Web destinations such as Gmail, Amazon, eBay, YouTube, Twitter, and others. The usefulness of these quick links is questionable since users who wish to be able to visit these pages with the click of a button can do that by taking advantage of their Web browser's bookmark bars.
Nothing about Search.searchtcn.com would be weird if it weren't for the fact that this page may be set as the user's default new tab page without their knowledge. This strange event may occur when users opt to install a browser extension under the name Tube World. Please note that the installation prompts users to authorize the extension to set Search.searchtcn.com as their default new tab page, but some users might not notice this, and they may end up agreeing to the offer instinctively.
The Tube World software is identified as a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP), which means that it is not harmful. In addition to the extension being safe, users should keep in mind that Search.searchtcn.com also is a safe page, and using it on a daily basis should not cause any issues. Regardless of this, some users would probably not be happy to see that their new tab page has been replaced by Search.searchtcn.com, and they might want to learn how to deal with this minor annoyance. The uncomplicated way to deal with the issue is to uninstall the Tube World PUP, which can be done by navigating to your Web browser's extension manager and removing Tube World from there.
