Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.

Browser hijackers are safe applications that usually serve one purpose when they are installed – to modify the default system Web browser's settings so that it will redirect users to a particular website when they perform certain actions. It is not uncommon for browser hijackers to change a Web client's default new tab page, homepage, or search engine provider, and different browser hijackers may do this via different methods – either by editing the Web browser shortcut's properties or tampering with the Web browser's settings directly. One website that relies on browser hijackers for its promotion is Startsearch.info, a page that hosts nothing else apart from a custom Google Search field that works as expected.
Although Startsearch.info appears to be rather simple, there's no way to tell what are the plans of its owners and whether the website's reliable reputation will be preserved in the future. However, regardless of its reliability at the moment, it is undeniable that relying on browser hijackers to bring new users to it is a poor plan that is guaranteed to have a negative impact on Startsearch.info's credibility. The Startsearch.info browser hijackers may be distributed via various methods, and many users might end up authorizing these pieces of software to modify the configuration of their Web browser unknowingly. The good news is that the Startsearch.info hijacker is not unsafe, and having it on your computer will not have any other consequences, apart from setting Startsearch.info as your default new tab page or homepage.
If you did not set Startsearch.info as your homepage knowingly, and you suspect that this may have happened because of a browser hijacker, then we advise you to take the necessary actions to restore your Web browser's settings, as well as to dispose of the browser hijacking application that is causing the problem. The best way to do this. Is to check your favorite browser's extension manager for any suspicious extensions that you might want to remove. If this is not enough to solve the issue, then a reliable anti-virus scanning utility should be able to locate and remove the intrusive application.
