Track Your Package Now

Tracking parcels and deliveries may be done by using the delivery company's website. However, you may come across browser extensions claiming to provide you with the ability to enter a tracking number, and then see the parcel tracking information. These extensions are usually fake, especially if they are not affiliated with a particular delivery service.

An example of such an add-on is Track Your Package Now – it claims to have great features, but, in reality, it does not do anything useful. Instead, its installer is programmed to replace your Web browser's default new tab page and search engine with the page Search.trackyourpackagetab1.com. This modification is not a major issue, but you may not enjoy it since it may hinder your Web searching experience, and you mind find it more difficult to navigate the Web efficiently.

While Track Your Package Now is not a threat, it clearly brings intrusive changes to your system. Furthermore, this application is classified as a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP) by popular security products, and its removal is recommended strongly. If you wish to undo the changes done by the Track Your Package Now application, you should take it out with the help of a suitable security tool.
