The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.

The Ultimate Gamer by Client Connect Ltd is a browser toolbar that tries to attract the attention of gaming fans. It offers quick access to various gaming-related news sites. Although these domains are safe and may be very interesting to the right audience, this feature is far less useful than some PC users could expect. You can easily set up bookmarks for your favorite Web pages, which would offer you the exact same function as the Ultimate Gamer Toolbar. The lack of real utility is not the primary reason security experts don't recommend keeping this software. This toolbar is classified as a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP) with adware capabilities. First of all, the installation of this suspicious application sometimes may happen in a pretty confusing manner.
It is true that the Ultimate Gamer can be found in the Chrome Web Store, but it also may travel in freeware bundles. This method is questionable because if the PC users don't pay attention to the details during the setup process, they may install the PUP unwillingly. The presence of the toolbar in Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer may be accompanied by other changes, which the majority of people may not appreciate. For example, it is quite likely the PUP by Client Connect Ltd to replace your default homepage. If this change takes place, you may see some unknown search site when you go online. These platforms may display inaccurate results, so you should not use them. As another way to promote third-party sites, this PUP may place additional pop-ups, banners, interstitial ads and videos in most of the sites that you visit. Not only may this process be very annoying, but it may increase the loading time of the pages. If you wish to eliminate Ultimate Gamer from your system, you should use dedicated security software.
