Waleisa is known to be adware/a potentially unwanted program (PUP) that was created to show intrusive pop-up ads and notifications on the computer for commercial purposes that is to generate advertising income from advertisement clicks. Waleisa may show the web page box with the text 'Best Web Browsing Technology - waleisa!' on the PC. Once installed on the PC, Waleisa may insert an unwanted Web browser extension, add-on or plug-in which may be used for displaying random pop-up advertisements and messages or the ones associated with the PC user's browsing habits. Waleisa may propagate and enter the PC as an optional tool bundled with free software that the computer users can download from questionable download websites. If pop-up advertisements and messages delivered by Waleisa show up on the computer system, this may indicate that the PC has been contaminated with this adware. Waleisa may double underline certain words on a website, and when the computer user hovers over them, 'Ads by Waleisa' may occur. If the computer user clicks on the 'Start Now' of the Waleisa web page, he may get reroute to affiliated websites that may be designed to benefit from increased web traffic.
