There has been a massive increase in the number of corrupt domains containing the word facebook recently and computer users must be warned.

Cybercrooks are clearly aware of the success of Facebook, and are now using the social network as an entry point to distribute malware and steal credentials for online banking and credit cards. Facebook has become a platform for hackers and the like to abuse for their cybercrime. So much so that security experts are now saying that Facebook's biggest threat is cybercrime. The most recent malware attack comes in form of hackers spreading a dangerous worm through Facebook's 'Like' feature and now a new clickjacking scam is tricking users into 'liking' a page that has a message such as "Paramore n-a-k-ed photo leaked".

Here is a list of some of the corrupt Facebook domains to watch out for:

  • facebook-ims.com
  • facebooks.bz
  • gjfacebook.com
  • image-facebook.com
  • ims-facebook.net
  • inbox-facebook.com
  • kfacebook.net
  • kjfacebook.net
  • lfacebooks.net
  • ojfacebook.net
  • ozfacebook.net
  • ppfacebooks.net
  • sodfacebook.com
  • ujfacebook.net
  • vfacebooks.net
  • vvfacebook.net

These websites not only steal personal data but also download malware the drive by download technique where a corrupt file is automatically run once the system is infected.
