How to Uninstall Dashlane

Dashlane is a paid password manager available for all popular platforms. Choosing a password manager can be a tricky task, especially since it is important to select one that is guaranteed to be impenetrable by hacking attempts. If the Dashlane software does not meet your expectations, then you can use these tips to complete its full removal:

Uninstalling Dashlane on Windows

If you are using the Dashlane desktop app, then you need to open the Start Menu and head to Apps -> Apps & Features. Find 'Dashlane' in the list on the right, select it, and then press 'Uninstall.' Follow the uninstallation instructions on your screen to complete the process. You will need to choose whether you want to delete saved notes, passwords, and other data when removing Dashlane. If you do not think you will use Dashlane again, you can also head to your website to remove your account completely.

Uninstalling Dashlane on MacOS Applications. Find Dashlane's icon and drag it to the Trash Bin. Finally, empty the trash to complete the removal. If you do not plan on using Dashlane's services again, head to their website and opt to delete your account.

Uninstalling Dashlane from Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or Microsoft Edge
If you are using the browser extension of Dashlane, then you will need to remove it from your Web browser. Follow the instructions applicable to your browser:

1. Open the Chrome extension manager, select 'Dashlane – Password Manager' and click 'Remove.'
2. Open the Firefox 'Manage Your Extensions' panel, select 'Dashlane' and click 'Remove.'
3. Open the Microsoft Edge 'Installed Extensions' menu, select 'Dashlane – Password Manager' and click 'Remove.'
