How to Uninstall FrostWire

FrostWire is a popular torrent application for Windows and macOS systems. If you are done using torrents and wish to remove the software used to do this, then you will find the removal instructions for FrostWire helpful:

Uninstalling FrostWire on Windows

Open the Windows Start Menu, and go to Apps -> Apps and Features. Once there, select 'FrostWire' from the list of installed apps, and then click on 'Uninstall.' Wait for FrostWire's uninstallation wizard to open, and then follow the instructions. You will be asked to keep or delete saved torrents and user profiles – it is up to you to decide whether you want to do this or not. We advise you to remove everything if you do not plan on using FrostWire again.

 Uninstalling FrostWire on macOS

macOS users should open Finder -> Applications and find FrostWire's icon. Right-click it and click 'Move to Trash' before emptying the macOS Trash Bin. To find and remove leftover files, do the following:

• Delete the folder ~/Library/Application Support/FrostWire
• Delete the files ~/Library/Caches/com.FrostWire.Setup and ~/Library/Preferences/com.FrostWire.Setup.plist
