How to Uninstall iTunes

Uninstalling iTunes on Windows

Windows users can trigger the uninstallation wizard by going to the Control Panel and then selecting the 'Programs & Features' menu. From there, find the 'iTunes' entry and then select 'Uninstall.' Uninstalling iTunes on macOS

iTunes comes preinstalled on macOS laptops and computers, and this is why its removal might be a bit trickier. The first method is to open Finder -> Applications, and then right-click the 'iTunes.application' shortcut. Select 'Get Info' and click on the small lock icon at the bottom. Choose the 'Sharing and Permissions' option, and make sure that 'Read & Write' is ticked. Close the window, and then drag 'iTunes.application' in the trash bin.
