Uninstalling Microsoft Office on Windows

Windows users can approach Microsoft Office's removal via two methods. One way to do it is to open the Windows Control Panel, navigate to the Programs -> Programs and Features menu, and then choose to uninstall Microsoft Office.

The secondary option is to visit Microsoft's official website and download the official Microsoft Office uninstaller. Once it is downloaded, run it and use the on-screen wizard to complete the process.

Uninstalling Microsoft Office on macOS

macOS users will not be able to use a stand-alone uninstaller, and, instead, they may need to go through several steps to remove all of Microsoft Office's files efficiently. The first step is to open the Finder -> Applications utility, and then select all Microsoft Office tools that you wish to remove. After this, use the right-click context menu to choose the 'Move to Trash' option. This will remove the core components, but there might be some files left behind. To remove them, go to the Finder, and use the keyboard combination Fn + Shift + G. Type '~/Library' in the newly opened window. Open the directory 'Containers' and then remove all of these components:
