How to Uninstall Razer Synapse

Razer Synapse is configuration software for all kinds of Razer computer peripherals such as keyboards, mousepads, mice, headphones and others. It is not mandatory to have Razer Synapse running to use these devices. It simply allows you to customize the properties of these devices, set up lighting, etc. If you do not wish to use Razer Synapse any longer, then you should follow these instructions to remove it:

Uninstalling Razer Synapse on Windows

1. Open the notification area in the bottom-right corner, right-click 'Razer Synapse' and select 'Close Razer Synapse.'
2. Open the 'Start Menu,' type in 'Apps' and open the menu.
3. Select 'Apps & Features.'
4. Find 'Razer Synapse' in the list of software, select it, and click 'Uninstall.'

Uninstalling Razer Synapse on macOS

1. Go to Finder -> Applications.
2. Drag 'Razer Synapse' to the trash bin.
3. Select the 'Go' menu on the top, and head to Utilities -> Terminal.
4. Type the following commands one by one, and press 'Enter' after each line.

• launchctl remove com.razer.rzupdater
• launchctl remove com.razerzone.rzdeviceengine
• sudo rm /Library/LaunchAgents/com.razer.rzupdater.plist
• sudo rm /Library/LaunchAgents/com.razerzone.rzdeviceengine.plist
