The actual purpose of such pop-ups is to push users into taking an action: calling a toll-free support hotline or downloading software updates. In case your browser displays pop-up messages from 247tech.help, your computer is clearly infected with adware. Pop-ups from 247tech.help are disguised as a Microsoft Security Essentials alert and claim that there is a security error due to suspicious activity found on your computer. The users are advised to contact Microsoft certified live technicians by calling 0-800-051-3723. In reality, this is a scam message that is intended to lure users into paying for a non-existing problem.
