Altcontrol
Altcontrol is a Korean based adware application that serves commercial pop-up advertisements. It also can contact a predetermined web server and download specific instructions, which allow the spyware to change the web browser's default home and search pages and some related settings without asking for user's permission. Altcontrol must be manually installed. It automatically runs on every Windows startup.
