Home Malware Programs Trojans BAT.Batman.a

BAT.Batman.a

Posted: March 28, 2006

The main feature of this trojan, that separates it from other BAT-trojans, is its double-facing. It scans for BAT or COM files and then, depending on whit is the extension of the found file, it can act in two ways. If it's a BAT-file, BAT.Batman.a is executed as a batch file. In case a COM-file was found, this pest executes itself as a COM file. As the result of an infection, this trojan writes itself in the beginning of a BAT-file. Any computer with no efficient enough defence can get infected with BAT.Batman.a and suffer from its actions, that is why installing a good defence and regular scanning are recommended.
