Home Malware Programs Remote Administration Tools BO-BO 1.0b

BO-BO 1.0b

Posted: March 28, 2006

A newer version of BO-BO Remote Administration Tool. Several bugs were fixed in this variant, and it became even harder to detect its presence in the computer. Originated in May 2000. The prime function of this application is gaining the hacker unauthorized remote access and control of other people's PCs. A "server" allows the intruder to connect via a "client" on his own machine. The functions of a RAT may vary, depending on the needs of the hacker. Some RATs can't really harm your PC and the only purpose they were made for is hooliganism. But some versions can steal vital information, remove files and even crash your computer. This application for example uses trojan-like abilities to infiltrate the computer. It can infect your PC via the e-mail. The author of this virus is a hacker called Napalm.
