BackDoor-DOQ.gen.k

BackDoor-DOQ.gen.k is a variant of a backdoor Trojan that attempts to propagate by exploiting local network shares. BackDoor-DOQ.gen.k will attempt to connect to a predefined IRC server to allow hackers to participate in dangerous distributed denial-of-service attacks (DDoS). A DDoS attack is an attempt by hackers to make a computer resource unavailable to its intended users. BackDoor-DOQ.gen.k poses a severe security threat to any PC and should be removed upon detection.
