BackDoor-DRV.gen.c
BackDoor-DRV.gen.c is a Backdoor that exploits vulnerabilities of installed software to obtain remote, unauthorized access to your computer. Backdoor spyware is installed secretly by viruses, worms, and other malicious adware programs. Backdoor spyware works sneakily, making it very difficult to detect and disable. Hackers use BackDoor-DRV.gen.c to install a downloader or dropper trojan, which may then install a proxy trojan, which is used to relay spam, or a keylogger trojan which monitors and sends keystrokes to hackers. BackDoor-DRV.gen.c may also open ports on the affected system which potentially leads to further compromise by other hackers. BackDoor-DRV.gen.c poses a severe security risk and should be removed from the compromised system immediately.
