Bugat is a dangerous banking Trojan which enters the computer stealthily to catch the victim user unaware. The Bugat trojan has the ability to open a conduit and download other malicious malware onto the system. Bugat captures information entered in Web forms by altering the content of targeted websites or stealing browser cookies and FTP and POP3 credentials. Additionally, Bugat can upload files from the infected computer to a remote server or download and execute corrupt programs. Bugat communicates with a command and control server from where it receives instructions and updates to the list of financial websites it targets. This communication can be encrypted in order to thwart traffic inspection tools. Do not give this malicious parasite the leeway to steal your private information. Remove Bugat removed immediately using a proven anti-virus program.
