Clandestine

Posted: March 28, 2006

RAT Clandestine, also known as Clindestine, initially was designed to take screenshots of user activity. However, most its versions provide other common functions, so the attacker can use Clandestine to control an infected PC remotely. It is known that this malware starts automatically on every Windows startup, steals computer information and attempts to spy on a user. Several versions of Clandestine exist. However, the functionality is the same. Although this RAT is not very dangerous, it still remains security and privacy risk, so consider removing it from the computer.
