CleanV

Posted: December 16, 2010

In no way is it a surprise to us to see another rogue anti-spyware program because they are created just about every day. This time it is a rogue called CleanV which apparently is known to disguises itself as a spyware and virus remover application. CleanV (Clean V) has an interface that somewhat resembles an antivirus application which may be why it has already begun to trick computer users into purchasing a full version of the CleanV program in hopes that it would resolve potential virus infection issues.

CleanV is no other than a fake security program that uses its bogus popup messages and fabricated system scan results as a scare tactic. All of these notifications and scan results should never be treated as something real because CleanV cannot actually detect nor remove detected parasites.
