Core.cache.dsk

Posted: February 12, 2008

Core.cache.dsk is a malicious keylogger designed to log your keystrokes whenever you are using a search engine website. Core.cache.dsk may then use this data to redirect your browser to unwanted websites, including xads.zedo.com, aavalue, upsiral.com, searchlocal.ws and URL.CPVFEED.com. These websites are known to propagate corrupt anti-spyware applications and, therefore, should be avoided by all means. Core.cache.dsk has the ability to start with every Windows boot and run in stealth mode. Core.cache.dsk will also attack your desktop with annoying pop-up advertisements that are usually labeled as “Powered by Zedo”. Core.cache.dsk may violate your security and privacy and, therefore, should be removed from your system once it is detected.
