HDD Recovery

Posted: December 13, 2010

HDD Recovery (or HDDRecovery) is a fake optimization tool that uses bogus system error messages to lure users to purchase the full version and may be installed in your computer system through a Trojan. HDD Recovery is a clone of HDD Scan and HDD Control. The fake error messages state to have detected serious problems on user's hard drive or system memory.

Once HDD Recovery is intalled, it will run a system scan and come up with fake reports stating that the user's hard drive is damaged. HDD Recovery only uses fake system alerts because it wants users to be afraid and rush to purchase a program that has no value. Even if you purchase HDD Recovery, it will not fix your computer problems because HDD Recovery is the source of the problem.

It is recommended for affected PC users to use a reliable anti-spyware/anti-virus program that will stop HDD Recovery in its tracks.
