Homepagecell is an intrusive homepage hijacker and fake alert message. Homepagecell is reported to hijack Internet Explorer and set www.Homepagecell.com” as homepage. Once installed, Homepagecell will display misleading notifications or system alerts with an intention to goad users into purchasing rogue anti-spyware programs, including IEDefender, Virus Heal and others. Homepagecell shouldn't be trusted under any circumstances since it is related to rogue anti-spyware creators.
