IRC Worm Ceyda spreads through IRC networks using mIRC client application. When PC gets infected, worm places its files on hard drive, modifies mIRC settings, that it could send its copy to other users and creates shared folder with its copy in it. It even can format hard drives, so one with infected PC may lose critical data. Some of versions of Ceyda can give attacker control over an infected computer.
