Worm Kitro spreads by the Internet in messages with infected attached files. It installs itself to the computer and uses .NET Messenger application to obtain e-mail addresses. Then it sends its copies to all found addresses. It uses a remote mail server to distribute itself. The D version of this worm also can spread via file-sharing networks. It places its copies to shared directories of the KaZaA peer-to-peer application, so other users could download the worm.
