I-Worm.Maldal

Dangerous Internet worm Maldal spreads by e-mail in messages with infected executable attachments. When a user executes such attachment, the worm installs itself to the computer and runs its process, which uses Microsoft Outlook mail application to send copies of the worm to all addresses found in the Address Book. It also changes the default start page of Internet Explorer web browser to a page containing another worm that can install itself automatically when user opens that page. The Maldal disables a keyboard and removes all computer files, so the infected PC will not be able to load an operating computer on next startup.
