I-Worm.Netsky.Q1 is a network-aware computer worm that replicates across an existing network. I-Worm.Netsky.Q1 spreads using Windows networking APIs, MAPI functions or email clients such as Microsoft Outlook. I-Worm.Netsky.Q1 creates unknown email messages with corrupt attachments and sometimes attaches itself to outgoing email messages. I-Worm.Netsky.Q1 also uses a misleading message which suggests that the recipient should open the attachment. I-Worm.Netsky.Q1 must be removed from the infected system immediately.
