Posted: March 28, 2006

Naninf.d is an IRC-controlled backdoor that gives the attacker unauthorized remote access to the compromised PC. The intruder can retrieve user sensitive information, download and execute arbitrary files and control the infected computer. Naninf.d terminates running antivirus and anti-malware software, kills some computer processes and third-party tools. It also lowers computer security settings. The backdoor is able to bypass the Windows Firewall. It runs on every Windows startup.
