Net-Worm.Spybot

Posted: November 13, 2009

Net-Worm.Spybot is a network-aware worm that attempts to replicate across the existing network. Net-Worm.Spybot can also spread using Windows networking APIs, MAPI functions or email clients such as Microsoft Outlook. Net-Worm.Spybot often creates unknown email messages with a harmful program attached and, in some cases, sometimes attaches itself to outgoing email messages. Net-Worm.Spybot also uses a misleading message which suggests that the recipient should open the attachment to see something interesting or important. Net-Worm.Spybot should not be allowed to spread and must be removed from the infected system immediately.
