Net-Worm.Win32.Kolab.hsm
Net-Worm.Win32.Kolab.hsm is a network-aware worm that uses a computer network to send copies of itself to other computers on the network without any user intervention. This may happen because of security shortcomings on the target computer. A person may install Net-Worm.Win32.Kolab.hsm by accidentally opening an email attachment or message that includes executable scripts. When installed on a computer, Net-Worm.Win32.Kolab.hsm spontaneously produces additional email messages including copies of the itself. Net-Worm.Win32.Kolab.hsm may also open TCP ports for creating networks security holes for other application programs. Also, Net-Worm.Win32.Kolab.hsm may try to flow the LAN (a local area network) with spurious Denial of Service (DoS) data transmissions.
