OS Protection

OS Protection, also known as OSProtection, is a rogue anti-spyware program similar to rogue Spyware Protect 2009. OS Protection is known to sell itself as a mighty spyware remover, but in reality, OS Protection is not designed to detect nor remove any spyware infections from your computer system.

Once installed, OS Protection will most likely emulate a computer system scan and generate a list of malware infections as a result. Moreover, you'll be bombarded with popups and fake system alert notification messages stating that your computer is infested with spyware. In order to remove these fake threats, you'll be lured into buying OS Protection's commercial version. OS Protection may cause system disordering and data deletion.
