PC Defender Antivirus (or PCDefenderAntivirus) is a rogue antivirus program which tries to con users into spending money on a useless product. PCDefenderAntivirus uses a Trojan to redirect the browser to a fake scan page which produces bogus results claiming the PC is infected with malware. The user will soon be bombarded by popup warnings urging the purchase of PC Defender Antivirus to remove the so-called threats. Do not fall for this trickery, it is all a big scam. Remove PC Defender Antivirus and the related Trojan using a updated malware remover.
