Pidief DG

Pidief DG (also known as Troj/PDFJs-AC, Trojan.Pidief.D, PDF/Pidief.DG) is a downloadable Trojan that sneaks into your system through vulnerabilities in the system software. Once Pidief DG is installed and active, Pidief DG downloads more malware and adware onto your computer.

Many of the properties of Pidief DG include identity theft, hacker botnets, and dozens of annoying Pidief DG popups. Pidief DG may also dramatically slow the performance of your computer, causing system restarts to take much longer than usual, and Internet connections to drop to a snail's pace.

Badware like Pidief DG may also change your Internet settings to redirect your homepage to another site, while even adding desktop shortcuts to your PC that are unnecessary and more than often infected.
