ProProtect

ProProtect (or Pro Protect) is a rogue anti-spyware program which lures unwary computer users into purchasing a useless version of its software. ProProtect will produce fake security warnings along with a list of parasites in order to convince you that your computer is riddled with malware. The full version of ProProtect will not fix your computer problems and the list of malware from Pro Protect's scanner is actually valid Microsoft files made to look malicious by ProProtect. Do not attempt to manually remove these files, it may lead to the computer malfunctioning and eventually shutting down.

ProProtect comes with a rootkit parasite attached and can also easily install another rogue anti-spyware applications or malware onto system. The longer ProProtect stays on the infected system the higher the risk for serious system damages. Pro Protect comes bundled with a rootkit which makes removal the rogue software quite difficult. The rootkit changes the system settings and prevents other programs from opening on the system. Remove ProProtect using genuine anti-spyware software before your computer is damaged by this malicious application.
