Proxy-OSS.dll (or Gen.AdWare) is an annoying Adware program that bombards computer users with annoying popup advertisments based on browsing habits. Proxy-OSS.dll monitors web surfing habits and sends the information to a malicious third party. Proxy-OSS.dll embeds itself into the compromised system as a Browser Helper Object (BHO), making it difficult to remove manually. Once detected, Proxy-OSS.dll should immediately be removed.
