Registry Defender Platinum Screenshot 1Registry Defender Platinum, or RegistryDefenderPlatinum, is a rogue anti-spyware program known to use fraudulent scare tactics to steal money from non-technical computer users. Registry Defender Platinum may be installed in your computer system through a Trojan, such as Zlob or Vundo, or you may have downloaded it from a malicious website thinking it would solve your malware issues. Once infected, you may be bombarded with fake popups stating that your computer is infested with spyware. Once you click on Registry Defender Platinum's popups, you'll be redirected to a scam website to buy Registry Defender Platinum's full version.

Registry Defender Platinum is also capable of launching fake system scans and display erroneous scan results. In addition, Registry Defender Platinum's scan results label legitimate and necessary files as infections to finally damage useful programs.
