Tip of the Day Popup

"Tip of the Day" popup is a fake popup alert notification generated by Extra Antivirus, which is the latest and most actively propagating digital infection. This rogue anti-spyware application is installed through Trojan viruses that infiltrate the system without your knowledge or consent. If you receive "Tip of the Day" Popup alert, this means that your PC is already infected. Alert notification reads:

"Tip of the Day.
This is very important advice. Please do not hesitate to use it.
Keep software up to date. Install software patches so that attackers
cannot take advantage of known problems or vulnerabilities (see
Understanding patches for more information). Many operating systems
offer automatic updates. If this option is available, you should turn it on."

The options presented on "Tip of the Day" Popup alert include the "Remove all" and "Ignore" button. However, if you choose to ignore this warning or even click on the right-hand "X" button, you won't get rid of "Tip of the Day" Popup alert popping up now and then in the middle of your PC routine.
