Troj/Bifrose-ZD is a malicious trojan horse or bot that deviously enters a PC or network and makes an outbound connection. Troj/Bifrose-ZD can attack the internet connection by producing outbound traffic. Troj/Bifrose-ZD can also create a fake startup registry entry in Windows, which allows other backdoor trojans to gain illegal access to the infected computer. Troj/Bifrose-ZD will attempt to self-propagate by exploiting local network shares and connecting to a predefined IRC server in order to participate in DDoS attacks. Troj/Bifrose-ZD shows characteristics of a an highly severe security risk and should be removed.
