Troj/FakeAV-CDG

Troj/FakeAV-CDG is a malicious Trojan which enters a computer undetected and then operates in the background. Troj/FakeAV-CDG contains characteristics of a rogue antispyware program which uses aggressive and deceptive advertising and false reports of exaggerated system security threats to sell useless antispyware kits. Troj/FakeAV-CDG creates a startup registry entry to produce a fake security scan everytime the PC is turned on. The scan will show false results that claim the PC is under threat. Do not fall for this trickery and have Troj/FakeAV-CDG removed from the computer immediately.
