Trojan.Banker.Agent

Posted: February 4, 2011

Trojan.Banker.Agent is another form of malware, which was specifically designed to extort information from the system user of the computer which it has infiltrated, such as bank accounts, usernames, passwords and credit card details. Once this information has been extracted from the infected system, Trojan.Banker.Agent will then send on the information to its host server.

Once Trojan.Banker.Agent has infiltrated a PC’s system, the following functions are affected: the opening of illicit network connections, the use of polymorphic tactics to self-mutate, the disabling of already installed security software, modification of system files, and not forgetting the installation of additional malware. Trojan.Banker.Agent is extremely successful at what it does; therefore it is highly recommended that Trojan.Banker.Agent be removed from an infected system, as soon as it has been detected.
