Trojan.RogueAV.a.gen is a malicious Trojan which uses stealth techniques to enter a computer undetected and then operates in the background. Trojan.RogueAV.a.gen contains characteristics of a rogue anti-spyware program which uses aggressive and deceptive advertising and false reports of exaggerated system security threats to sell useless anti-spyware kits. Trojan.RogueAV.a.gen creates a startup registry entry to produce a fake security scan everytime the PC is turned on. The scan will show false results that claim the PC is under threat. Do not fall for this trickery and have Trojan.RogueAV.a.gen removed from the computer immediately.
