Worm.Colowned.A is a malignant computer worm which helps other malware threats invade a PC system more easily. Worm.Colowned.A gives remote access to the corrupted system to hackers with doubtful aims. Computer systems affected by a Worm.Colowned.A can be used in a variety of malicious activities without victims' consent, most often as part of a Denial of Service attack (DDoS attack). Worm.Colowned.A also installs a downloader or dropper Trojan to the infected system, which has the potential to install a proxy Trojan which is used to relay spam or keylogger Trojans to the PC system. These malware threats control and transmit keystrokes to remote in danger of further cyber-crime in the form of identity and financial fraud.
